The Last Dance: Date Set for Inter Miami vs Al Nassr!

The Messi-Ronaldo rivalry is the most discussed rivalry on the planet, and everyone has a say in it, After the Goats’ exit from Europe, there was no hope of them meeting or as many call it, having the last dance. Fortunately, Club owners have worked together for us fans to be able to enjoy the Last Dance for another time. Inter Miami have agreed to take part in the Riyadh Season Cup and have set up 2 matches, the first one with Al Hilal on January 29 1 pm ET, and the second with Ronaldo’s Al Nassr on February 1st 2024 1 pm ET.
Chris Henderson, Inter Miami’s Sporting Director, shared his thoughts, saying, “These matches will test our team and help us get ready for the new season. We’re excited to go up against teams as good as Al-Hilal and Al Nassr.” The game against Al Nassr is particularly interesting because it means facing off against Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s been the highest goal scorer in the Saudi Pro League. It’s a real challenge for Inter Miami, a test of their skills and tactics against one of the best.
The matches also bring back the famous rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. According to Inter Miami, they’ve faced each other 35 times, with Messi’s teams winning 16, Ronaldo’s winning 10, and nine draws. Messi has scored 21 goals and assisted 12 times, while Ronaldo has 20 goals and one assist in these encounters.

Beyond the field, Messi has been involved in promoting tourism in Saudi Arabia. Despite a past issue with his former club PSG for an unscheduled trip to the country. Saudi Arabia has been working hard to make a mark in global football, signing top players and hosting big events. However, they missed out on bringing Messi to the kingdom when he decided to join MLS instead.
