A new year means a new game. The game of football is a game popular all over the world, a famous gaming franchise is Fifa | EA, the latest being FIFA 23. The latest being the last as FIFA and EA split their roads, urging to create their own game. EA’s game EA Sports FC 24 is to be launched on Sep. 29, 2023. Let us take a look at what’s new and if it really is worth it.
Ultimate Team Evolutions
EA FC 24 introduces a groundbreaking feature called Ultimate Team Evolutions, where players can upgrade by completing objectives to enhance their skills, PlayStyles, and overall ratings. With each Evolution card, players can change the look of their Player Items using new designs and animated backgrounds. Although each team can have multiple Evolution cards, only one player can be evolved at a time.
PlayStyles+
The innovative addition called PlayStyles+ draws inspiration from X-Factors seen in NHL and Madden games. PlayStyles+ gives players on-pitch abilities that set them apart. This feature enables users to build squads based on football players’ real-life playing styles. Although further details are yet to be unveiled, EA showcased a demo where Sam Kerr demonstrated precision in finesse long-shots through her unique PlayStyle.
Quality-of-Life Features
EA FC 24 introduces highly requested quality-of-life features like the Claim All button and the ability to change players’ positions without consumables. Versatile players will now have secondary and tertiary positions, allowing them to perform without affecting gameplay or team chemistry. These updates enhance user experience and add flexibility to team building.
Revamped Icons
Icon cards undergo significant changes in EA FC 24. Icons will feature a single base version aligned with regular player cards and Heroes. Additional Campaign versions of Heroes and Icons will be released throughout the year, capturing the eras and stories of legendary players. Icons will provide chemistry points across leagues and nationality links, marking a shift in the Ultimate Team meta. The Mid and Prime Icon versions will no longer be available.
