Cristiano Ronaldo is known for his clutch. He has displayed this vital quality many times in his career, coming to save the day in the most vital matches, whenever needed. He came in clutch yet again in the semi-final match against Al Shorta.

It was 0-0 in the semi-final when in the 75th minute Al Shorta conceded a penalty. Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to take the penalty, and fear was imminent in the keeper’s eyes. Ronaldo took his run-up and strikes it into the back of the net to the right side. He hit the traditional Siuuu and kept the hope alive.

The penalty was awarded after Faisal Jasim fouled Sadio Mane in the box. Ronaldo scored the penalty in the 75th minute to make the score 1-0. Later in the final minutes, an attack was on from Al-Shorta where a goal was almost obvious, but Al Nassr’s goalkeeper Nawaf Alaqidi made a wonderful save to keep Al Nassr in the lead.

Al Hilal and Al Shabab also faced off in the other semi-final where Al Hilal won 3-1 against Al Shabab. Ronaldo’s Al Nassr is set to face Al Hilal on Saturday, 12th of August in the King Salman Clubs Cup Final at 9:00 pm, at King Fahad Sports City in Taif. This is the first ever King Salman Clubs Cup Final in the history of Al Nassr and the Ronaldo effect is in plain sight.
